Piano / Double Bass Teacher
Caroline J. Brenchley, double bass and piano instructor, first began teaching in 1990, the same year that she received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Caroline earned her Artist Diploma in Strings (Double Bass) from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 1994. Throughout the years, she has taught privately as well as at schools and music camps in both Australia and Cincinnati, Ohio.
Ms. Brenchley has extensive experience as a professional double bass player, including solo, ensemble, and orchestral work, touring and recording. She has performed with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony, Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Australian Pops Orchestra, State Orchestra of Victoria, Cincinnati Wind Symphony, Haydn Orchestra, and Ensemble Eszterhaza.
Her vast skills as a musician have been also highly employed in worship ministry since 1991, including at College Hill Presbyterian Church, and various Australian churches. Currently she is a worship leader at large in Greater Cincinnati and is keyboardist and vocalist at Vineyard Church Northwest. A compact disc of 11 of her original worship songs is due to be released in late 2004 or early 2005.
