Anne Brenchley
Anne Brenchley worked with us from February 2002 through January 2003 as our Monitoring Coordinator through the AmeriCorps Program under the Washington Service Corps.Anne grew up in Spokane, WA, before moving to Seattle and then Bellingham to attend Western Washington University, where she attained her Bachelor's degree in Biology with an emphasis in zoology and a minor in chemistry.
During the spring season, Anne trained volunteers to monitor water quality, supervised a group of Fairhaven Middle School students working along Padden Creek, and to completed an alternatives analysis for a project in Cornwall Park.During the summer months she organized and conducted a habitat assessment of over 2.5 miles of Terrell Creek habitat on the BP Arco property and the fall season found Anne coordinating and conducting field surveys of salmon spawning populations in 11 streams in Whatcom County. Anne completed all of her projects in a very professional & timely manner and was a pleasure to work with.
