   Being in the kitchen comes naturally for Sharon. During her summers as a child, she would visit her Irish grandmother and her German grandmother where she would be by their sides in the kitchen. At the age of 12, her mother returned to work full time and Sharon was responsible for planning and preparing family dinners five days a week.
   
   Sharon has been involved with the food service industry for over 25 years working in school food service, catering and as part of the chef program at D&W under Chef Laurie Lindrup.

   Sharon is a graduate of the GRCC Culinary Arts Program. Before entering GRCC's culinary program, Sharon came to work with Laurie again at Erika's Deli.

   Upon graduating, Sharon accepted the position of Culinary Consultant and Executive Assistant for Tasters Guild International and is still involved with Erika's Deli today.
