Cooking has always been a passion for Allison Brawley.From a young age, Allie spent her weekends, vacations, and numerous late nights creating new recipes, cooking for friends and family, and continually fine-tuning her culinary skills.Upon her move to New York City in 1999, Allie began volunteering in a commercial kitchen planning and preparing meals for special events.From this experience, she honed her catering skills delighting groups of 50 to 250 with entertaining menus.
As LAWRY'S LIVE!Cooking Caravan chef, Allie shares her fervor for flavor with thousands of cooking fans across the country each year at some of the nation's largest food festivals, fairs and summer celebrations.An advocate for LAWRY'S® Marinades, Spice Blends and Steak Sauce, Allie demonstrates the season's hottest tastes and trends along with her own quick and easy tips for grilling success.
Prior to joining the LAWRY'S LIVE! tour, Allie managed Amy's Bread, one of Manhattan's top bakeries.While there, Allie increased annual revenue by creating new products, developing new services, and spearheading several marketing initiatives.Her food industry experience also includes stints in high-end restaurants in both Boston and Michigan.
Allie balances her epicurean enthusiasm with her healthy appetite for health and fitness, including running, yoga and gymnastics.She enjoys the great outdoors and urban living, in addition to painting, nature photography, and adventure travel.
Allie holds a BSBA from Boston University's School of Management.She has received formal culinary training at The New School and the Institute of Culinary Education, both based in New York City.
