    Andrea Branzi, born in Florence in 1938, today lives and works principally in Milan. He is an architect, a designer and an art critic. He was a part of the group ARCHIZOOM from 1964 to 1974. He has alternated his design work with teaching and writing. Author of numerous books, curator of exhibitions, he collaborates with important design magazines (DOMUS, INTERNI, CASABELLA, MODO and others). He has worked with important companies, among them: ALESSI, CASSINA, VITRA, ZANOTTA, ARTEMIDE, PIONEER and others. He is considered one of the most important names in neo-modern design. He has won numerous international design competitions and is a three-time winner of the "Compasso d'Oro" (golden compass award). His intuition has repeatedly anticipated the evolution of design and the perception of architectural space and the urban scene.
