Ms. Oana Branzei

Ms. Branzei is pursuing a Ph.D. in Commerce, Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources at UBC.Her research focuses on two main areas: (1) corporate decision making processes and strategies which can address environmental issues in sustainable ways and (2) international strategies of high-tech entrepreneurial start-ups and joint ventures.Prior to coming to UBC, Ms. Branzei completed her MBA at the University of Nebraska and her BS in Foreign Trade at 'Al.I.Cuza' University in Romania.She also worked as a business consultant with Nebraska Business Development Center.In this capacity, she assisted more than 50 small and medium sized business in their efforts to launch or restructure their companies and organized custom training seminars on a variety of business topics, including conflict management, customer service, negotiation and communication, and human resource practices.
