Kara Branz switches gears at La Salle in 2006, from being on the court as a player to on the sidelines as an assistant coach.Her primary duty will be assisting in the planning and executing of practices.

Branz finished her career in the top ten in games played with 421.She also left her mark on the assisted block category, finishing sixth all-time with 167.

In addition to her on-court experience, Branz got her coaching start volunteering at the Northlawn Junior High School in Illinois, where she assisted for five years.Branz also gained coaching experience for three years at the University of Illinois volleyball camp.

A 2006 La Salle graduate, Branz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.She currently works for La Salle in career counseling while she pursues a Master's degree in clinical counseling.
