    CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Barbara Ann Miller Brantner, 62, of 160 Carbaugh Drive, Apt. 3, died Saturday, April 27, 2002, at Chambersburg Hospital.

    Born Jan. 25, 1940, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Bard L. Miller Sr. and Anna Cramer Miller.

    She was a 1957 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School.

    She was a supervisory supply technician at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, with 28 years of government service, retiring in 1988.She also served as financial secretary/treasurer of the National Federation of Federal Employees Union Local 1442 for more than 16 years while employed at Letterkenny.She also worked for the Chambersburg Area School District at Grandview and Mary B. Sharpe elementary schools, serving as a tutoring coordinator and working with children.

    She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Chambersburg.

    She was a member of National Association of Retired Federal Employees, AARP, National Association of Retired Federal Employees Local Chapter 1063, Hume-McNeil-Byers Amvets Post 224 and Women of the Moose Chapter 1128, all of Chambersburg.

    She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Brantner and Robert D. Brantner, both of Chambersburg; one brother, Bard L. Miller Jr. of Chambersburg; three sisters, Mabel K. Jones of Orrstown, Pa., Janet Etter of Russellville, Ky., and Deloris Smith of Chambersburg; her former husband of 41 years, John A. Brantner of Chambersburg; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

    She was preceded in death by one sister, Lilyan Hawbecker.

    Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.The Rev. Neal O. Hively will officiate.Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg.

    Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
