Lori Brandt, owner of Max Muscle of Anchorage, Alaska had gotten herself into quite a rut.
"I had gained over 70 pounds with both of my kids. When I was pregnant with my son, I stopped stepping on the scale when I hit 220 pounds.Depression set in, and the hormonal imbalance definitely took its toll on me!"Brandt says.
She knew she needed to get back into shape and find her self esteem once more."I no longer had the 'having babies excuse," she says."I finally got serious about taking care of myself, the weight came off in about a year."
Actually it was an amazing amount of weight that came off; over 100 pounds!Brandt dropped to below 120 pounds at one point, but soon realized she'd made a mistake. She lost too much and her body did not hold the shape it once had.
"My skin on my stomach was loose, and I lost my butt! Not pretty!"she laughs.

As a Max Muscle franchisee, Brandt knows the importance of supplementation in helping her attain and maintain her physique.
