Karen Branch

Karen Branch, Commercialisation Manager, studied law at Southampton University and Chester College of Law.After working for firms of solicitors and gaining experience in merchant banking law, derivatives and commercial law, Karen worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers as an e-business consultant.This gave her the background to move into business development, specialising in innovation and start-ups.Karen then moved in to Higher Education as Commercialisation Consultant for WestFocus, becoming a permanent member of the Enterprise Team in late 2004.Karen also founded and was MD of an innovative company within the greeting card industry, proving that she can practise what she preaches!
