Larry Bradford is the President of Southern Solar Systems. He has a B.S. degree from Auburn University in aerospace engineering and years of experience working with NASA and DOE in both terrestrial and space based solar research and development. Larry has previous experience founding new companies. He is the director and founder of Energy Engineering and has experience designing and installing hydroelectric generators and thin film solar concentrators. As president of Southern Solar, Larry is putting his efforts towards growing Southern Solar's markets and developing their business strategy.

Larry Bradford of Holly Pond, president of Southern Solar Systems Inc. in Huntsville, said he plans to keep working with lawmakers to create legislation that would encourage use of solar energy.

"A tax credit would make it economical to finance a solar energy system over a 10-year period," Bradford said.

Rep. Jeff McLaughlin, D-Guntersville, said he voted to provide the tax breaks for solar energy.
