As senior vice president and community relations executive at Wachovia Corp., LaJuana Bradford gets to do good things for a living, and she likes that.

Throughout the banking giant's Mid-South region, Bradford's office directs community involvement efforts, allocates financial support to area nonprofit organizations and coordinates employee volunteer activities.

"I appreciate the fact that Wachovia is so committed to us volunteering in the community," she said.

Bradford also practices what she preaches, serving on the boards of the YWCA and the Birmingham Urban League, and she just finished up a stint with Leadership Birmingham.
