Heather started with Bull, Housser & Tupper LLP as a summer student in 2003 and joined the firm's Commercial Litigation Group after completing her articles and being called to the bar in August 2005.Her responsibilities as a junior Associate involve primarily assisting senior lawyers with the conduct of their litigation work.She has experience in the areas of municipal law, insurance defence, real property disputes and employment law, and has attended mediations, settlement conferences, and matters in both Supreme Court and Provincial Court.

Heather completed her B.A. in Political Science and International Development at McGill in 1999 before moving on to do her LL.B. at the University of Ottawa.Her previous employment experience includes a summer with in-house counsel at a Federal Crown corporation, assisting professors with legal research for their classes and publications, and working as an accounting assistant for a mid-sized retail business.
