Mrs. Alvah A. Bradfield

Mrs. Bradfield was a longtime member of the Church of Christ.

She had been a resident of Florence Comprehensive Health Care for the past 15 years.She was a graduate of Florence State Teachers College , now UNA.She had taught school in Winston , Franklin , Colbert and Lauderdale counties for 50 years.She also taught in the Maude Lindsey Kindergarten.

She was an avid camper and for many years was active in the Camping Club.She loved gardening , cooking and was always doing for others.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Florence , the Retired Teachers Association and was active in the Sweetwater Reunion.

Though never blessed with children of their own , the numerous students she had the opportunity of teaching became as her own.

Memorials may be made to Maude Lindsey Kindergarten.
