Ben Boyle's Citroën 2CV and Volkswagen Beetle I plan on getting the bodywork of the 2CV done in the coming years and I am aware that this will be a somewhat drawn out process. I am also aware that when the car is restored I will no longer be able to drive it with as little discretion as I do now in order to maintain the appearance it will have attained.

Ben Boyle and his Citroën 2CV So, to that end, I have purchased my new "beater". This is my 1979 Dyane that is right hand drive that I purchased in England for a whopping $600 and was able to jump a ride in a container that a friend of mine was shipping. I then was able to get some help and obtain a used frame to put underneath it. So, I have a ramshackle Dyane that is pretty rough but functional in all the right places!
