Miss Boyd received her bachelor of science degree in exercise and sport studies from Tarleton State University.She is a member of Delta Zeta National Sorority, Association of Texas Professional Education and Texas High School Girls Coaches Association.She is employed with the Waxahachie Independent School District as a teacher and high school softball coach.
