Mr. Velma Leonard Boyd

Mr. Boyd moved to Florida two years ago, after living in Atlanta for 10 years.

He was a contract computer analyst for Georgia-Pacific.

Mr. Boyd was of the Baptist faith.

He was a graduate of Sullivan Central High School and East Tennessee State Technological School.

Mr. Boyd will be remembered as a loving son, brother and uncle and for his love of boating.

Survivors include his parents, Lee R. and Velma P. Leonard Boyd of Bristol, Tenn.; two brothers, Gary Lee Boyd and wife, Oudia, of Blountville, and Danny Wayne Boyd and wife, Barbara, of Bristol, Tenn.; four nieces, Angela Boyd Frazier, Carrie M. Boyd, April J. Boyd and Christine L. Boyd; one nephew, Michael Travis Boyd; one great-nephew, Corey Joe Boyd; four uncles, Vaughn Ralph Boyd of Morganton, N.C., Jack Leonard of Estill Springs, Tenn., Wayne Leonard of Bristol, Tenn., and Roscoe Bowman of Bristol, Tenn.; two aunts, Elizabeth L. O'Dell of Vieques, Puerto Rico, and Kay Seabolt of Kingsport; and several cousins.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2002, and at other hours at the residence of his parents, Lee R. and Velma P. Boyd, 219 Maple Drive, Bristol, Tenn.
