Vanessa Treviño Boyd, SommelierA female sommelier is often hard to find, but Vanessa Treviño Boyd's experience makes her hard to miss.Most recently, as former Sommelier and Manager of Bar Demi in NYC, Boyd oversaw daily operations, sold wine, hosted wine and cheese tastings and assisted in maintaining the cheese program and wine list.In Chicago she learned the nuances of fine wine service at Harry's Velvet Room, where she maintained an extensive knowledge of vintage champagne, wine and cigars; and worked with an award-winning, all-American wine list at the North Pond Café.A culinary school graduate and a member of the American Sommelier Association, Boyd has been a private chef and instructor for wine and cooking courses in New York since 1998.With this wealth of experience, Boyd brings her talent, expertise and a keen passion for food and wine to Morrells Restaurant.
