Jan Bowe was appointed General Manager Corporate Strategy for NRMA in January 2007.She has a strong stategy background having held senior strategy roles in both Suncorp-Metway and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Jan's management career extends beyond the banking and finance sector with a range of senior executive posts in Rio Tinto, tertiary education and health.She has a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Melbourne Business School and an undergraduate degree in Health Administration from the University of NSW.

Jan recently moved back to her home town of Sydney after a 3 year stint in Brisbane.Immediately prior to joining the NRMA she spent 12 months travelling, including researching community development activities overseas.

Jan has a strong interest in the community and charity sector and has recently become a Board Member of both Uniting Care and Midnight Basketball.Whilst in Brisbane she was a Board Member of The Queensland Orchestra and the Youth Enterprise Trust.
