Born in Moncton, Marc was called to the bar in November 2004.Marc is an associate lawyer in litigation group of the Fredericton office of Cox Hanson O'Reilly Matheson.His practice is focused primarily on insurance law and regulatory offences.

Marc began working as an articled clerk in the Fredericton office of Cox Hanson O'Reilly Matheson in November 2003.After completing his undergraduate studies and Law Degree at l'Université de Moncton, Marc accepted a position with the United Nations War Crimes Tribunal in Tanzania.During this time, he was assigned to the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda.

Marc is a Member of the Law Society of New Brunswick, the Canadian Bar Association, the York-Sunbury Law Society, the Criminal Defence Lawyers Association and the Association des juristes d'expression française du Nouveau-Brunswick.

His first book entitled "Droit maritime" is scheduled to be published late this year.Marc is fully bilingual.

Born in Moncton, Marc Bourgeois was admitted to the bar in November 2004.

Marc began working as an articled clerk in the Fredericton office of Cox Hanson O'Reilly Matheson in November 2003. After completing his undergraduate studies and Law Degree at l'Université de Moncton, Marc accepted a brief posting with the United Nations War Crimes Tribunal in Tanzania. During this time, he was assigned to the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda.

Later, Marc was posted in Pretoria (South Africa) working with Lawyers for Human Rights an NGO specializing in Refugee and Human Rights Law. Upon his return he and Senior Partner Gary A. Miller founded the law firm of Miller Bourgeois where they both currently practice exclusively in the field of criminal law.

Marc is a member of the Law Society of New Brunswick, the Canadian Bar Association and President of the New Brunswick Criminal Defence Lawyers' Association. Marc is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Elizabeth Fry Society of New Brunswick.

Originaire de Moncton, Marc A. Bourgeois a été admis au Barreau du Nouveau-Brunswick en novembre 2004.

Marc débuta sa carrière comme stagiaire à Fredericton au sein du cabinet Cox Hanson O'Reilly Matheson en novembre 2003. Après avoir complété ses études en droit à l'Université de Moncton, Marc fut affecté pendant un court temps à l'Organisation des Nations Unies (Tribunal pénal international pour le Rwanda) à Arusha en Tanzanie. Durant ce temps il a travaillé avec l'équipe du Bureau du Procureur du TPIR.

Plus tard, Marc a été muté à Pretoria en Afrique du Sud. Durant ce temps il a travaillé au sein de l'ONG Lawyers for Human Rights se spécialisant en droit des réfugiés et en droit de la personne.
