Jude Boughton

Following the announcement of the scores this afternoon, the full corps had a quick meeting in the always hot Alamo Dome parking lot with Jude Boughton, our program coordinator.

Design team members include Jude Boughton (program coordinator), Michael Cesario (program consultant), Chris Tomsa (brass arranger), Jeff Queen (percussion arranger), Andrew Schneiders (front ensemble arranger), Jeremy Hunt (visual designer) and Peter LePage (guard designer).

Biography: Jude is very excited to be joining the Colts design team in 2006, as Program Coordinator, after serving as movement instructor and program consultant last season.

Prior to working with the Colts in 2005, he served as a guest movement instructor with the Glassmen Drum & Bugle Corps, during the pre-tour season.2003 & 2004 were spent as CO-color guard caption head/movement & dance instructor of the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps.A movement technician/designer for The Black Watch Winter Guard from Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, Jude has served as dance instructor with the groups since 2003 to present.

Other teaching credits include: Pittston Area High School, Ben Davis High School, Triton High School, and the Reading Buccaneer Drum and Bugle Corps.Jude has also served as a movement judge for WGI since 2000, and is proud to serve as a Marching Band/Winter Guard facilitators for his home judging circuit Tournament of Bands.

Jude attended Kutztown University in Pennsylvania with a focus in Theater & Dance and in-depth studies in "Movement for Non-dancers", "Laban Movement Analysis, and "Dance in the Musical Theater."

Jude resides in Pittston, Pennsylvania.

Finally, new to the staff is Jude Boughton.Boughton says he “is happy to be joining the Colts" after serving as color guard caption head and movement co-choreographer of the Phantom Regiment for the last two seasons.He also serves as dance master for the Black Watch color guard from Mt. Laurel, N.J. Other credits include teaching extensively around the country with marching bands, drum corps, and dance teams.He has judged for WGI, DCA, and TOB.Boughton is finishing a degree in theatre with a minor in Dance from Kutztown University, and resides in Pittston, Pa.
