   Denis Bouffard's extensive carrier class telecom experience translates into competitive business edge, industry insight and technology know-how for AcceLight Networks. Denis is a key member of AcceLight's product line management (PLM) team.
   
   Before he accepted his current position with AcceLight, Denis held senior management positions with Nortel Networks. Most recently he was the director, Optical Services Management Solution, where he led the global team responsible for Nortel's eBusiness Optical Services program. Under his leadership the solution was named 'best in class' in CIRs' Managing the all Optical Network report. In February 2001, the solution was recognized in the best new product category at the Telestrategies OSS Show.
   
   Prior to this, Denis was a director with Nortel's Preside Service and was a key participant in the organization's growth from six people to more than 1000 worldwide. This team achieved multiple customer successes and generated several contracts for Nortel.
   
   Denis' has an extensive background in telecommunications management systems as well as experience in voice switching, radio and fiber transmission technologies.
   
   Denis earned a Bachelor of Mathematics (Honours) with Computer Science from the University of Waterloo. He also holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Ottawa.
