   Peace Lake Towers names Boudreaux to board of directors
   
   boudreaux copy.jpg (8274 bytes) New Orleans - Peace Lake Towers, a HUD-subsidized facility for seniors, has named Lawrence Boudreaux III to its board of directors, effective May through April 2003.
   
   Boudreaux is President and CEO of Fidelity Homestead Association, a savings and loan association. He earned his master's degree in business administration from Tulane University in New Orleans. Boudreaux served on the board of directors for LSSS, Inc., from 1986 to 1999.
   
   The 10 members of the Peace Lake Towers board have three-year terms and are responsible for creating awareness of the ministry and furthering the care of residents, in accordance with the program's mission. Boudreaux is serving the remainder of a term which was vacated by a previous board member.
   
   Boudreaux and his wife, Patricia, are members of Atonement Lutheran Church in Metairie.
   
   Lutheran Social Services of the South, the social service arm of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, annually serves nearly 26,000 elderly, children and poor in Louisiana and Texas regardless of religious beliefs, ethnicity, gender or age. Its ministry includes health care and retirement centers, adult day care, children's residential treatment centers, therapeutic foster care, adoption, emergency assistance and disaster response.
