   During the shareholders meeting held March 28, 2002, the President, Mr. Boudreault informed the shareholders that Biolix was searching for additional financing required to sustain its continuing development. Measures have been taken to achieve the financing.
   
   In order to compensate the lack of new funds, transitional measures have been implemented to assure a continuity of Biolix's operations. The Corporation has focused its commercial operations on activities that can promptly procure the Corporation with its first revenues. Corporate restructuring plans are in the process of evaluation in order to achieve, in a short time, the Corporation's financial strength that will correspond with its needs for development.

   It is important to note that Biolix received a significant subsidy from the "Fonds d'action québécois pour le développement durable (FAQDD)" of $400,000 for a project to demonstrate the technology's application to the paper industry. This agreement with ONDEO combined with the acquisition of the STABIOX technology marketing rights, will certainly prove to be strong points of interest during our current round of financing," underlined Mr. Boudreault.
