   Labcal Technologies president Carl Boudreau signed contracts totaling over $12 million with Mr. Jiang Su Di, the president of Global Magnetic Card Company (GMCC), a leading smartcard manufacturer in Tianjin, People's Republic of China.

   "Compared to the US project, the device designed and developed by Labcal for DRDC-Ottawa will demand still more rigorous requirements and provide a flexible interface," according to Carl Boudreau, Executive Vice President, Labcal Technologies, Inc.    Ce contrat de $300,000.00 CDN a été octroyé à Labcal par le résultat d'un processus très compétitif de soumission où l'industrie canadienne de la biométrie/authentification fût invitée à présenter leur proposition technique et leur prix. Pour la réalisation de ce projet, Labcal collaborera avec Okiok Data (Montréal) pour leur expertise en cryptographie et sollicitera les services de Domus ITSL (Ottawa) pour leurs connaissances de la certification Common Criteria (CC).
