BIO:Mary Bouck is the PROM/SE Director of Capacity Building where she oversees all professional development aspects for the project and is a Visiting Academic Specialist in the Division of Science and Mathematics Education and Department of Teacher Education at Michigan State University.She also works with a National Science Foundation funded project, Tool Kit for Change Agents, where she works as a writer/developer on a web based tool kit to help district leaders facilitate mathematics reform in their schools.Bouck is a former mathematics teacher and school administrator, finishing her 30-year public school career as a superintendent.During this time she worked in rural as well as urban schools.As an experienced educator, she has developed curriculum materials for elementary and middle grades and was a member of the writing group for the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics' Principles and Standards for School Mathematics.Bouck is an experienced professional development leader and a leader in promoting change in mathematics education.Her research interests include the development of teachers, teacher-leaders, and administrators as well as student learning, curriculum, and assessment.
