Pastor Les Bouck, of New Beginnings Fellowship moved to Utah a few months ago. He said he finds that most members of the Church of Jesus Christ are open and friendly.

"I play racquetball at Gold's Gym with three LDS church members," Bouck said.

Bouck's church hosts a Sunday night "blue jeans service," to help people feel comfortable and welcome.

"Some people feel it's refreshing to have Bible study," Bouck said. "I've had several BYU students come and say they've learned more from the Sunday night Bible study than they did in their ward that day."

Bouck's church members also make a log at their weekly prayer meeting and Bible study. The log includes any needs or concerns of church members.

Bouck said he feels members of his congregation benefit from looking out for one another's needs. "Even though we haven't seen numerical growth, we've seen spiritual growth," he said.
