Biography of Attorney Margo Bouchet
Three dominant attributes have inspired ATTORNEY MARGO BOUCHET since graduation from Law School at Howard University: Commitment to God, Dedication to her family, and Service to her community. After earning her JD degree, MARGO BOUCHET, embarked on a Los Angeles practice designed to women and minorities in their battles against wrongful discharge and discrimination. As a result, she has won major victories for countless plaintiffs.
In addition to her role as a highly effective Attorney who has built a respected reputation as a dedicated and determined advocate of the oppressed, MARGO BOUCHET has managed to juggle her role as mother, lawyer, activist and community servant. Her service in the community has not been ignored. She is the recipient of numerous honors and accolades including an appointment by President James Carter, as the first African-American to the United States Circuit Judge Nominating Commission. MARGO has also garnered awards as Best Mother of the Year from St. Brigid Catholic Church, Outstanding Woman of the Year by the Zeta Phi Beta Society, OMICRON CHAPTER, and WOMAN OF ACHIEVEMENT AWARD from N.A.A.C.P. Additionally, MARGO has served as President of the Inglewood Bar Association, Vice President and Program Chair of St. Brigid's Parish Council and she served as an alternate delegate to the National Convention of Links, for the San Fernando Valley Links. Currently, MARGO serves on the Board of Trustees of the Union Rescue Mission Foundation and she is President of the Howard Alumni club of Southern California.
