Providence, RI - Bank Rhode Island has promoted Penny Boucher to Retail Banking Officer/Branch Manager of its Buttonwoods branch, located at 2975 West Shore Road, Warwick.

Boucher joined the Bank Rhode Island team in 1998 as assistant manager of the Governor Francis Farm branch, in Warwick.She also worked at the Bank's former Warwick Mall branch and successfully opened the Bank's first "X-press" branch, at its Plainfield Pike location in Cranston.

In her new position, Penny is responsible for growing the Buttonwood branch's deposit base, overseeing all branch personnel and delivering the Bank's small business loan and consumer loan products.

Boucher has 27 years of banking experience, beginning her career as a teller.Before joining BankRI, she worked for Fleet Bank.
