And since that just isn't right, Elizabeth Schwan-Rosenwald and Abigail Boucher created 20% Theater Company Chicago (based off 20% Theater Company in New York City) to try to even out those numbers a bit.

Abigail Boucher is thrilled to be a Strawdog Theatre Ensemble member.Born and raised in France, Abigail came to the United States in 1999 to study Theatre and Political Science at Smith College, MA. In 2002, she graduated with honors and moved to Chicago, where she worked as a teaching artist for the Goodman Theatre's Youth Drama Workshops.

Since then, Abigail has worked with various theatre companies in town including Collaboraction, Nake Eye Theatre Company, The House Theatre of Chicago, and of course Strawdog.Aside from being a company member at Strawdog, Abigail is also a founding member and co-artisitc director of 20% Theatre Company Chicago, a company dedicated to increasing the presence of women in theatre.Her last project was working on benefit performance of Snapshots with 20% as a writer, actor and producer.

Abigail also serves as Strawdog's Group Sales and Outreach Coordinator.
