December, 2003 - Baxter & Woodman, Inc., Consulting Engineers has added Penny F. Bouchard as an environmental specialist working out of the firm,s Grayslake office.
Bouchard brings an expanded capability to the firm in the area of wastewater pretreatment programs. Bouchard also brings with her 25 years of professional environmental experience in industrial wastewater enforcement and laboratory management, most recently employed as the Industrial Environmental Controller for the North Shore Sanitary District in Gurnee, Illinois. Under Bouchard,s supervision, the North Shore Sanitary District earned a National Pretreatment Program Excellence Award from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA).
Bouchard holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Illinois State University and has attended numerous wastewater pretreatment training courses conducted by the USEPA. Appointed by the USEPA as a multi-year member of the USEPA Effluent Guidelines Task Force, Bouchard assists the agency in planning the Effluent Guidelines Program. -
