   Paule Bouchard is a partner in the Professional Standards group of the Assurance practice. In addition to review and quality control responsibilities, she is responsible for all professional training programs and is a senior resource for accounting and auditing issues. She is frequently called upon to serve as an expert witness in litigation support mandates.
   
   Ms. Bouchard is currently a member of the Assurance Standards Board of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and teaches courses for the Quebec Order of Chartered Accountants. She graduated from l'Université du Québec à Montréal with a Bachelor of Accounting in 1987, obtained her CA in 1989 and became a CPA in 1994. Furthermore, she presides over the Uniform Final Examination jury for the CICA (2003-2004).

   Paule Bouchard became a member of the International Accounting Education Standards Board in January 2006. She was nominated by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA).
   
   Ms. Bouchard is currently partner in charge - professional practice and risk management at RSM Richter in Montreal. She is the national supermentor of accounting and assurance continuing education for the Canadian institutes and was previously chair of the CICA Board of Evaluators during its successful design and implementation of a new competency referenced evaluation model.
