   Leabee Designs is owned and operated by the designer, Leatrice Bottrell. She creates these unique, one-of-a-kind, hand-painted designs on silk in her studio in King City, Ontario.
   
   Ever since she was a child, Leatrice has been a creative person. Her interests are as broad as drawing, knitting, crocheting, sewing, baking, floral designing and of course, silk painting. Her schooling consists of a variety of programs and courses,graduate studies in education, a college diploma in retail floristry and a college certificate in Human Resources. Leatrice,s work experience has been wide ranging from retail clerk, floral designer to human resources advisor.
   
   Both her artistic and educational background are valuable assets in the designing and running of Leabee Designs. Leatrice was introduced to silk painting through a course at a studio and was fascinated with the process and endless possibilities for colour blending and for displaying her creative spirit. Since then, she has taken a number of silk painting courses in order to expand her understanding and skills in this remarkable medium.
   
   She has a great love of nature and takes daily walks with her two weimaraners, Palladio and Coco, through the fields and forests of King City,experiencing and observing the changing colours, fauna and flora. Utilizing this love of nature and the schooling in creative arts, she paints unique silk designs on articles which she hopes others will truly enjoy and cherish for many years.
