   Don Bottom came to Security Engineers in January 1994 as President/CEO at the request of Birmingham investors who were seeking to form a 'professional alternative' for security services in Birmingham. Don's 35 years experience in the security industry made him the #1 choice to accomplish the goals of this new organization.
   
   Once incorporated, Don's first step was to bring together a ‘team of professionals' with strong security backgrounds to form the nucleus of the company. He then set out to create a new image in the local security market - "security officers with a professional attitude". His concept was simple - "develop long-term partnerships with clients in order to provide career opportunities for officers".
   
   Don has a favorite saying; "I may not know what TO DO in every instance, but I know what NOT TO DO when it comes to security".
   
   In addition to reporting to the Board of Directors, Don spends much of his time on company growth and expansion into new territories and markets. However, as always, Don continues to provide an "open door" for any problem or concerns from staff and especially clients..
