   Jerry began working with CFDC Nadina when it first began, in the early 1990's. One of the reasons he has stayed with CFDC Nadina this long is because he likes the fact the programs and projects we run put the destiny back in the hands of the local community members. CFDC Nadina has been at the forefront when it comes to responding to and anticipating needs of the communities. He feels that the work is worthwhile because it benefits the community as a whole.
   
   Jerry also finds the staff enjoyable to work with because they are competent, unwilling to be limited by their job descriptions, and have wonderful senses of humour, which Jerry says is a necessity in this line of work.
   
   If there could only be one goal for Jerry and CFDC Nadina, he hopes it would be to unite the region as one socio-economic development unit while retaining each individual community identity.
