   InFocus Management CEO Mr Rick Bottari was elated at the news of the Tamworth invitation. "Since the Billboard went up we have had numerous enquiries from the media and from within the industry, but now that people have had the chance to see Shereen perform, the level of interest has gone through the roof. We are delighted and honoured to have struck this deal with Maton, and look forward to a long and rewarding association with them.
   
   Maton's endorsement of Shereen will extend to the supply and service of guitars for herself and her band, as well as their invitation for her to perform at their Tamworth showcase.
   
   Mr Bottari also revealed plans to continue Shereen's PR campaign with other billboards to be commissioned to coincide with the Maton announcement and the Tamworth Festival next January. "Following the success of the St Kilda junction billboard, we decided to keep the campaign rolling in a similar vein. At InFocus we believe in our artists and what they can do, and we understand that in the music industry you often have to do something totally different to make an impact." he said.
   
   "The opportunity to showcase Shereen's talent at Tamworth is a critical step in the path to achieving International acclaim, and will also be used to launch Shereen's national tour and debut album", he added.

   It is a punt worth taking, according to her manager, Rick Bottari.
   
   "Marketing is now part and parcel of the music industry and you have to be prepared to back yourself," he said.

   Mr Bottari said the next step would be to record original material with the help of Melbourne music legend Joe Camilleri, who believes Shereen "has a great voice".

   "We have already set our sights on visiting Tamworth, the home of country music, in January and putting up some billboards there," Mr Bottari said.
   
   Shereen is thrilled by the exposure. "I have been crazy about singing ever since I was young and heard Michael Jackson's Thriller album, which had a profound effect on me," she said.
   
   Now Melbourne has been introduced to the giant-sized Shereen, there will be an opportunity to see the 164cm version. On July 30 she will perform at St Kilda's Esplanade Hotel.

   In Focus has spent $40,000 securing the site and funding the launch. "She is such an exciting talent that I insisted on doing something equally sensational to launch her career" Mr Bottari added.
