About Bryan Bottarelli
Bryan Bottarelli has been described as the "new breed of investment strategists." Acting as the founder of The CSR Group, LLC, Bryan is the CEO and Editor of the Canton Sports Card Report.
Ever since he was a boy, Bryan has had a knack for picking winning investments. Those who know him well say that trading simply runs in Bryan's bloodstream. Taking $150 of grass cutting money in 1990, he bought his first ever sports card -- a 1986 Michael Jordan Fleer RC. Although his parents nearly soiled themselves when they found out how he spent his money, Bryan got the last laugh as the Jordan RC jumped up to $850 as the Bulls won 6 NBA championships.
Bryan attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and graduated in 1999 with a BA in business/marketing. Fresh out of college, Bryan fine-tuned his trading skills taking a full time job on the floor of the CBOE (Chicago Board of Options Exchange) trading stock options under the iron arm of professional options traders. Taking the trading expertise he learned from the CBOE, Bryan moved to Baltimore in 2000 to run his own stock options investing newsletter. In 2001, Bryan decided to combine his extensive knowledge of trading with his passion for sports and sports card collecting, and the idea behind the Canton Sports Card Report, the first ever sports card advisory service, was born. -
