   Mr. Etienne Bote-Tshiek, called "Check" will be the facilitator for the youth portion of this Sunday. Check is an interpreter for the Democratic Republic of Congo for the Presbytery of Eastern Virginia. In that capacity he speaks in churches, works with youth in camps and with other Congolese in the USA to update the situation of his native land. He is an effective advocate for democracy and human rights in the Congo.
   
   He earned his B.A. degree in Economics at the State University of New York, and his M. A. in Applied Economics of Development at American University , Washington, DC. He worked for 10 years in administration for two international oil companies in Zaire and served for 5 years with Grindlays International Bank of Zaire.
   
   He and his wife have 6 children and are a dynamic Christian team. I hope that you will come and join in the 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. workshop, which begins with lunch from 12:15 - 1:00 p.m. We will meet Check and hear what he has to say about the conditions in Africa and what our youth can do to help.
