Union Road , Middletown , formerly of Millerstown , died Wednesday , Oct. 20 , 1999 in Frey Village Nursing Home , MiddletownShe was born Aug. 29 , 1911 at Freeburg to the late Harry and Rhoda ( Page ) Mengel.She retired as a music teacher at Greenwood High School , Millerstown ; assisted her husband at the former Botdorf Funeral Home , Millerstown ; graduated from Freeburg High School and Susquehanna University , Selins-grove ; was a member and former worthy grand matron of the Eastern Star , New Bloomfield Chapter 459 ; and a member of Highland Presbyterian Church , Newport RR 1 , where she had been a choir director.She was the widow of Howard W. Botdorf , who died June 14 , 1996.
