The next speaker was Billy Bosworth from the Blood Tribe near Cardston who spoke about his Native American culture. Bosworth will be a Masters student in Native American Studies at the University of Lethbridge in January. Bosworth described his traditional upbringing as well as how important education is because it "opens your mind." He stated that people need to "learn from each other…to make a better world" and encouraged the crowd to stay in school. He also performed two Aboriginal songs for the audience; one a serenade for his wife and the second a warrior song that is traditional sang before hunting.
