   Michael has dyslexia. Despite this, he earned three college degrees including a law degree. As an attorney, he practices in Florida in the area of disability rights advocating primarily for children's educational rights. He was the trial attorney and appellate co-counsel in the precedent setting cases of S.T. v. School Board of Seminole County, Florida, 783 So.2d 1231 (Fla. 5th DCA 2001) and Simon v. The Celebration Company, et al., No.: 5D02-2262 (Fla. 5th DCA June 4, 2004).
   
   Michael is a Director of the Center for Education Advocacy, Inc. in Miami. Prior to his becoming an attorney, Michael worked for 10 years as a business consultant and General Partner of a real estate development company. He lives in De Land with his wife and three home-schooled children.
