Janis has been with South West TAFE for two months and is filling a maternity leave role in the Hospitality and Tourism department.Her role is a traineeship co-ordinator and also hospitality & tourism teacher.Janis is originally from Warrnambool but was living in Geelong before the opportunity to join TAFE arose.She's enjoying being back with family and friends, but adores being back close to the beautiful coastline.Janis has been in the hospitality industry for the past 13 years and is enjoying the challenges that a teaching role brings.She says that that the staff have been so welcoming and helpful which has been a bonus as she is new to teaching and traineeships.
