   Jim Boswell is a partner in King & Spalding's Business Litigation and Healthcare Practice Groups.He has extensive experience in handling a full range of commercial litigation matters.Mr. Boswell has also handled jury trials, administrative hearings, arbitrations and appellate arguments involving specialized healthcare issues on behalf of healthcare industry clients.He received his law degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard University in 1991.Mr. Boswell joined the firm in 1992 after clerking on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.He became a partner of the firm in 1999.
   
   Mr. Boswell currently serves as a Practice Group Vice-Chair in the American Health Lawyers Association.In 2008, Nightingale's Healthcare News recognized him as one of twelve "Outstanding Healthcare Litigators" nationally.Mr. Boswell also serves as a member of the firm's Healthcare Initiative Steering Committee.

   ATLANTA, January 24, 2008 â€" King & Spalding's James Boswell, a partner in the firm's Atlanta Healthcare and Business Litigation practices, has been selected as one of twelve "outstanding healthcare litigators" nationally for 2007 in the January 2008 edition of Nightingale's Healthcare News. Boswell was acknowledged for his representation of health systems in class actions challenging pricing practices and for his role serving as lead counsel for a national nursing home chain being sued for its management of a long-term acute hospital and nursing home located in the District of Columbia. His role as counsel for Quorum Health Resources in litigation concerning Medicare accounting issues was also noted as a major accomplishment.
   
   Boswell has represented clients across a broad spectrum of the healthcare industry, including HMOs and other managed care entities, health systems and other providers, a PBM, a hospital management company, a nursing home chain, a PHO and a medical device manufacturer. He has also represented clients in the accounting, banking, direct marketing, and oil and gas industries. He has handled various matters involving complex accounting issues, including post-closing purchase price adjustment disputes and accounting fraud claims.
