   In the past two seasons Oklahoma Wesleyan had won just 18 games, but this season the Eagles are off to a blazing 14-2 start under first year head coach Donnie Bostwick.
   
   While coaches are often the first recipient of a team's success, Bostwick is quick to deflect all accolades to his players.
   
   "Fact is our kids deserve all the credit for our early success," said Bostwick."They have bought into our philosophy on both defense and offense; they have chosen to be champions of character."
   
   Prior to this season, Bostwick was an assistant at John Brown University and previously coached at the high school level.Bostwick was also an assistant at John Brown when they won an NAIA DI title a few years back.However, being a head coach at a small Christian campus was always an ambition for Bostwick.

   The John Brown University Shooting Specialty Day Camp will be July 22-23 under the direction of JBU assistant men's coach Donnie Bostwick.

   Bostwick, a NAIA All-District and NCCAA All-American selection for the Golden Eagles, has spent over 16 years attending and working basketball camps all over the midwest.He holds the JBU record for career three-point percentage at 46.1 percent and ranks second in career and single season free-throw percentage records for the Golden Eagles.As assistant coach for the NAIA Division I National Champion Golden Eagles, he works specifically with the guards on areas of shooting and skill development.
