   Celia Bostwick, a spokesperson for GP, said the company has addressed the issues cited by OSHA and is working to ensure that safety is top priority at all GPfacilities.
   
   Bostwick says the Cedar Springs facility alone spends about $300,000 per year on safety training.
   
   She also said the Cedar Springs facility has been recognized for its emphasis on safety in the past. In 2004, Cedar Springs employees completed the year with .258 OSHA Incidence Rate (OIR) that is the lowest OIR in mill history. Cedar Springs employees earned two GP Chairman's Safety Awards in 2005. These awards are based on zero incidence rate, no lost-time injuries and overall safety performance.
   
   GPhas 15 days to appeal the OSHA citations. Bostwick said the company's legal team has not yet decided what action to take. Subscribe to the Newspaper
