   John Boston of Wappingers Falls has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
   
   John, a member of Boy Scout Troop 40 of Hopewell Junction, has held a variety of leadership positions in his troop, including Senior Patrol Leader, which required him to be in charge of the entire troop.
   
   John's Eagle Scout project involved the renovation of statues and gardens in front of St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie.
   
   John is a senior at Our Lady of Lourdes High School, where he is active in extracurricular academics and sports. He serves as an assistant scoutmaster for Troop 40.
