Andre began studying violin at the age of 7, receiving his degree in Violin Performance from The Conservatory of the Academy of Romania. Andre was First Violinist for the State Opera of Cluj-Napoca for 4 years and made many recordings playing violin and guitar. Since his arrival in the U.S. he has performed with many musical organizations, including the Monterey County Symphony, the Oregon Festival Orchestra, the Santa Cruz Symphony and many others.
