   Alex Boston is a fundraising consultant in Blackbaud's Professional Services division. She joined Blackbaud as a Raiser's Edge instructor, responsible for conducting training on The Raiser's Edge 6 and 7 and all additional modules. Her teaching experience as a Raiser's Edge instructor has given her vast exposure to varied types of nonprofit organizations. She has expanded her list of competencies to include assisting clients with database cleanup, providing guidance in optimizing the use of The Raiser's Edge and developing policies and procedures to maintain the integrity of the database. Prior to working at Blackbaud, Ms. Boston taught college level Spanish at the University of Hawaii, headed the study abroad program to Spain, and she has also taught bilingual education at the elementary level in Del Rio, Texas. She holds a BA in communication from DePaul University in Chicago, as well as an MA with a specialty in linguistics and Spanish literature from the University of Hawaii.
