Mr. Roman E. Boruta

ROMAN E. BORUTA has extensive international and domestic experience in manufacturing, marketing, sales and service operations in a career that spans almost 50 years.Mr. Boruta earned his B.S. degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Wayne State University in 1951.After serving at the U.S. Naval Air Missile Test Center in Point Mugu, California, he worked in quality control management positions for several automobile companies during the late 1950's and 60's, and subsequently became Vice President and General Manager of Clark Equipment Company in 1973.In 1979, Boruta became President of the Reed Tool Company, a subsidiary of Baker International Corp. in Houston, TX after serving two years as that company's Vice President of Manufacturing.He served as President of the Applied Systems Division of York International, York PA, and later as President and CEO of Donlee Technologies, Inc., also in York, before accepting the assignment as Chairman, President and CEO of Purolator Products Company, Tulsa, OK in the early 1990's.For the past five years, Mr. Boruta has shared his management and manufacturing expertise as a consultant to a variety of companies in Texas and Oklahoma.In 1992, he was inducted into Wayne State University Hall of Fame and was selected to receive that institution's Corporate Leadership Award in 1993.Mr. Boruta is a prostate cancer survivor.
