As I go through the letters to the editor that have come in over the weekend, I spotted one that said kudos to A.H. Booth for his Sunday letter.A.H. complained that the style of editorials (the unsigned opinions down the left side of the Editorial Page) requrie "a more formal tone" -- which he says is slipping into more casual speech in The Dallas Morning News of late. Our latest letter writer, in agreeing, objects to this new "chattier" style of editorial writing saying she misses the "voice of quiet humility" she had long been used to.
